why 2b, and why a bride
2b (yorha no.2 type b) is one of those characters i've wanted to do for years. she's already an icon: the blindfold, the black dress, the heels. everyone does the classic combat look, so i wanted to give you a version you haven't seen a hundred times.
so i made her a bride. i took the gothic side of 2b and pushed it all the way: a long black lace veil, a sheer ruffled robe that moves when i do, a bralette with the silver clasp, a sheer bodysuit, heart-pattern stockings. i fit and adjust most of my costumes myself to my small size, so nothing looks off-the-rack. it took weeks of trial and error just to get the veil and the sheer layers to sit exactly right.
the idea was simple: what if 2b was getting married, but the wedding was only for you.
